Website Privacy Policy

rpaka-farm (the "Operator") sets out below how it handles information about visitors to the websites it operates (the "Covered Sites"). For information handled by our apps, please see each app's privacy policy, which you can find by opening the app's page from the support site home.

To understand how the Covered Sites are used and to improve them, we use the following analytics tools (except on the BigTap shared link page).

Google Analytics (Google LLC)

• Collects the pages viewed, the referrer, approximate region, browser and device type, and some interactions such as button clicks. It does not collect information that identifies you personally, such as your name.
• Uses cookies (names beginning with _ga) to tell repeat visits from the same browser apart.
• Google Analytics is not loaded for visits from EU member states, the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
• The collected information is managed under Google's privacy policy. For how Google uses this data, see "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".
• If you do not want your data collected, you can disable it with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc.)

• Collects the pages viewed, the referrer, country, and browser and device type.
• Does not use cookies and does not identify the same visitor across days.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

_ga and names beginning with _ga_

• Site: Sites that use analytics
• Purpose: Lets Google Analytics tell repeat visits apart
• Retention: Up to 2 years

ga_allowed

• Site: Sites that use analytics
• Purpose: Marks a visit as coming from outside the EU member states, the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Google Analytics is loaded only when this is present. It is not set for visits from those regions
• Retention: Until the browser is closed

fp-lang

• Site: www.farpoint.jp
• Purpose: Remembers the display language you chose
• Retention: 1 year

Browser Storage

In addition, the following information is stored only in your browser (it is not sent to the Operator):

• www.farpoint.jp: the display theme you chose, and your activity on pages that recreate the earlier version of the site
• support.rpaka-farm.jp: drafts of inquiries you are writing, and the reference numbers of inquiries sent from this device

4. Web Fonts

The web fonts used on the Covered Sites are served from each site's own domain. Displaying fonts does not connect your browser to any external server.

5. Records Kept by Hosting Providers

The Covered Sites are delivered using the infrastructure of hosting providers (Vercel Inc. and Amazon Web Services, Inc.). As part of how delivery works, information such as your IP address and browser type at the time of access is recorded by these providers. The Operator refers to these records only to the extent necessary to investigate failures and maintain security.

6. Inquiry Form (support.rpaka-farm.jp)

• Information we receive: the app concerned, the type of inquiry, the content, your contact details (optional), and the display language. When the form is opened from an app, we also receive the device and version information the app attaches (device model, OS, app version, and the app's display language).
• Preventing abuse: We use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.). To make its determination, information about your browser is sent to Cloudflare.
• Storage: Submitted content is recorded in the Operator's database and notified to the Slack workspace the Operator uses. The database is encrypted at rest.
• Purpose of use: Responding to inquiries and improving our apps. For bug reports and feature requests, with your agreement to the notes on the form, the status of our response may be posted on each app's support page in a form that does not identify you.
• Contact details: The contact details you provide are used only to reply to your inquiry when a reply is needed, and for no other purpose.
• Inquiry status page: Only the reference number, the app, the type, the date and time received, and the linked response items are made public. The content of your inquiry and your contact details are not.

7. Disclosure to Third Parties

Except for handling by the providers described above, we do not provide the information we obtain to third parties (except where disclosure is required by law).

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be changed as necessary. The revised policy will be published promptly on this page.
