Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
The application "MyCodex" (hereinafter referred to as the "App") provided by rpaka-farm (hereinafter referred to as the "Developers") does not itself collect or transmit any information about its users.
- We do not collect the content of documents you view or import (laws, your own regulations, dictionaries), your bookmarks, or your viewing history.
- We do not measure usage data (e.g., number of launches, screen transitions, operational events).
- We do not collect device information (e.g., OS type, version, device model).
- The App does not incorporate any mechanism for transmitting crash data.
- We do not obtain the advertising identifier (IDFA) or location data.
- We do not obtain any personally identifiable information (such as name, address, or phone number).
The App is declared as "Data Not Collected" on its App Store privacy label.
However, crash logs and aggregated usage statistics may reach the Developers through diagnostic mechanisms provided by Apple's platform. See Section 6 for details.
2. Network Communication
The App communicates over the network only when it connects to the e-Gov Law API (e-Gov Law Search) to search for and retrieve laws. In doing so, it sends your search terms and law identifiers to the e-Gov Law Search servers. This communication is required to retrieve law data, and the Developers do not receive its contents.
All other features, such as viewing your imported regulations and dictionaries, work entirely on your device.
3. Third-Party Services Used
The App does not incorporate any third-party services or SDKs for usage analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or similar purposes.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your imported regulations and dictionaries, downloaded laws, bookmarks, viewing history, and display settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to the Developers' servers.
This data may be included in device backups (such as iCloud Backup); this is a mechanism provided by the OS and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. The Developers do not obtain this data.
5. Importing Files
The App reads only the files you choose from the Files app, AirDrop, or the share sheet. It does not access any other files on your device.
6. Mechanisms Provided by Apple
Mechanisms provided by Apple's platform — such as downloads from the App Store and the diagnostic information collected by the OS — are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
If sharing analytics with Apple ("Share with App Developers") is enabled in your device settings, Apple provides the Developers with crash logs and aggregated usage statistics. This information is collected by Apple and provided in the form Apple determines; it is not transmitted by the App. We use it solely to investigate defects and improve quality.
You can change whether this information is shared at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements on your device.
7. Provision of Information to Third Parties
Apart from the Apple mechanism described in Section 6, we do not provide any information we obtain to third parties, except when disclosure is required by law.
8. Amendments
The contents of this Privacy Policy may be amended as necessary without prior notice. Any amended policy will be promptly published on this page.
